Nikiana Lefkas - Ionian destination - Sailing information

 Nikiana is a small harbour close to the S entrance of Lefkas channel at the east side of Lefkas island . Pleasant and quiet place to spend a day enjoying fresh fish at the local tavernas

Mooring

Usually during the summer season the quay is full .If you find a space go stern or bows-to the quay with anchor .Good holding , good shelter , depths  3-4m. Care must be taken at the floating lazy lines which have been attached for the local boats.Care must be taken also at the old mooring chains which are about 30m from the north end of the mole .Shelter is good although strong E or S winds can make it uncomfortable and even dangerous at times
