 The main port of Zakynthos . A large city with many available options for visits & entertainment

Approach Zante Port        (37°46'52N / 020°54'33 WGS84 )

 Approach from N can be tricky especially at night . The city cannot be identified until you sail around the cape . From S and E care is needed at ifalos Dimitris , the reefs and shoalwater ESE of the entrance of the harbour .Ifalos Dimitris is marked by a red conical buoy

Mooring

 Go stern or bows-to the NE or the NW side of the quay .The top N side of the quay is occupied usually during the summer season by local trip boats .Usually there is available space . Good holding , good shelter .
